What is it with me and weekends? I do believe I have found my Achilles heel, so to speak. My intake wasn't out of line in any way yesterday, but I still posted a three pound gain! I only did 988 calories! I am assuming my body was in starvation mode, thus the weight gain, but I am not totally for sure.
I wasn't intentionally starving myself, I just got to busy to concentrate on it. That and I was put in a different department at work last night that has endless naughty foods and gallons of free pop for the taking. I was good though…except for the sugar cookie that got the best of me. But, that's it!
I am starting memorize the routine on this first DVD, and I am starting to get pretty good at most of the exercises. I still haven't been able to do the dive bombers effectively, but I will continue to work at it.
I am still on my knees for the push-ups, even using the bars. I did concentrate very hard on good form today, and I really felt the difference in my chest and shoulders. My biceps are feeling quite nice, as well.
I am going to continue week one thru next Saturday, just so I can do my official weigh in and start a new DVD on the same day. I really like starting everything on the first day of the week. It must be my OCD flaring up again!
Until tomorrow folks!

Hey, I thought you were going to ignore the scale and just eat good and work out? Or am I thinking of someone else? Anyways, don’t worry about the stupid scale. You KNOW how to eat, you KNOW you are exercising. As long as you’re being honest with yourself and not denying a box of twinkies that you ate or something, then all will be good.
It must be someone else!
I’ve been weighing myself religiously…but gotta start doing LESS of that!! I am going to just weigh in on Sunday’s from here on out, I think…who knows…I’m just playing this whole thing day by day!
I am so tied to the scale…but I like it that way…
Weekends totally kill, though, you’re right. At work, it’s so much easier for me to eat intentionally. Don’t beat yourself up, though, look at the trend, not the day!
I hate the Dive Bombers. My back always spasms when I do them. Not sure why.
