Day 6: Plyometrics

Yeah, P90X – Plyometrics kicked our butts today…quite literally. We were only able to make it for 25 minutes!

My original plan was to stick with Disc 1 until Saturday and start Disc 2 (plyometrics) on Sunday. Alas, I was getting totally bored with disc 1 and my heart just wasn't in it. I was to the point of muting the volume and just using my IPOD. One can only listen to the jokes and witty banter for so long! ;)

We have a lot of company coming over this weekend for my daughters birthday celebration, so I am going to have to get up early to be able to workout on Saturday. As it stands now, I probably won't be able to workout on Sunday, but I am hoping I will be able to get one in at some point.

My goals for next week? I MUST get back into the swing of working out every day. I really enjoy P90X, but it's downfall for me is that I crave the gym time. It's kind of a de-stressor, ya know?

I'm really nervous about my weigh-in on Sunday! I've only worked out twice this week, so it is REALLY important to get one in on Friday and Saturday!!!

It is my sincerest wish to drop into the 360's by August 1st, and that's only 9 days away!!!
